Hudson Valley Pole Arts is proud to announce the grand opening of its first dance studio. With our opening, we carry out our mission of spreading our love of the sport and art of pole dancing to the Hudson Valley. Located in Kingston, NY, we hope to attract students on both sides of the river.
Beginning immediately, we will be offering classes in pole dancing and flexibility training for students of all experience levels, from beginner to advanced. Classes are held regularly in the evenings on Monday, Wed-Fri, and in the morning on Saturdays.
In recent years, pole dancing has achieved a large following for both the athletic intensity and the artistic expression of its practice. Similar in trajectory to yoga or pilates, pole dancing has a growing international community and competitive circuit.
Owner and operator Nicole Duquette, a certified pole dance instructor hailing from Brooklyn, NY, is leading a small team of experienced teachers from around the region. “I’m ecstatic to share my passion, and to push my students to flourish as both athletes AND dancers”, says Ms. Duquette. “We want students to fall in love with the dancing, but we also want them to advance their skills. Knowing you’re improving and seeing the difference in your body is a cornerstone of our philosophy”.
In addition to beginner pole classes, open classes will be tailored to the experience level of the students in attendance. Additionally, conditioning and flexibility classes will be offered, to help students develop the foundation needed to advance in the art.
Walk-ins are welcome, or prospective students can register online at http://hudsonvalleypolearts.app.standingcloud.com. Private or group lessons are also available by appointment. For more information, see our website or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
